Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider handles the query and displays its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email message when needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers receive basic technical information when a visitor loads a page:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help measure traffic, popular pages, and where visits end. Analytics providers combine that usage data. A browser can block cookies, although doing so may change how parts of the site work.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not compiled into consumer reports or third-party criminal profiles.

Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies govern submitted information, including how long they retain it and when they share it. Review the provider's terms before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff pages, court portals, state agencies, legal resources, or outside tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy terms apply. Review them before providing personal details.
Some advertising providers may track activity across websites for targeted advertising. That process occurs on provider systems.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it

Standard safeguards protect the information we collect, but no internet service can promise absolute security or guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger than 18. We will remove identified minor data when notified.
Your Data Rights
Alabama's Open Records Act at Alabama Code §§ 36-12-40 and 36-12-41 applies to public writings held by government custodians, not to private-site analytics. Alabama Code § 41-9-590 et seq. governs criminal-justice information systems and does not turn visitor data into a public criminal record. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
